However, after years of attending disaster preparedness classes that instruct you to put together a kit of your own, I had yet to do it. So, better safe than sorry - I wanted to go ahead and purchase a kit that was already put together. You pay for the convenience, but it definitely will be worth it if a disaster ever happens!
